Newsletter platform Beehiiv has integrated Cloudflare’s AI Crawl Control into its dashboard, providing independent publishers with a simple toggle to manage how artificial intelligence crawlers interact with their content. This feature allows creators to either permit AI search engines to index their archives for wider distribution or block them to reserve their work for potential future licensing agreements.
The integration simplifies a process that previously required technical expertise, such as manually managing robots.txt files or configuring complex firewall rules. Through the new dashboard, Beehiiv users can monitor which bots are visiting their sites, see how much referral traffic they generate, and individually block or allow specific AI models.
