The update affects a broad range of hardware, supporting iPhones as old as the 2019 iPhone 11 and the second-generation iPhone SE.
Specialized platforms also receive functional improvements; visionOS 27 now enables Apple Vision Pro users to preview notifications using eye movements, while iPadOS 27 focuses on infrastructure enhancements such as faster file transfers to external drives and smoother connectivity transitions when moving between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
