ASML reported stronger-than-expected second-quarter results, prompting the Dutch semiconductor equipment manufacturer to raise its full-year 2026 revenue guidance for the second time this year. The company reported net sales of €9.3 billion and a net profit of €2.9 billion, both exceeding analyst estimates.
Driven by relentless demand for artificial intelligence chips, ASML now projects annual sales between €43 billion and €45 billion, significantly higher than its previous forecast of €36 billion to €40 billion. CEO Christophe Fouquet attributed the growth to "extremely strong" order intake as chipmakers accelerate production capacity to support the AI boom.
