Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) has announced the launch of Truth API, a new backend interface designed to license real-time data from Truth Social to financial services and high-frequency trading firms. Scheduled to debut on August 1, the service provides direct access to posts from high-profile accounts, including President Trump and various top government officials.
Interim CEO Kevin McGurn stated that the initiative aims to replace unauthorized data scraping with a faster, paid alternative, marking the company’s first significant move into data licensing. The API is part of a broader strategy to diversify TMTG’s revenue streams beyond advertising and subscriptions.
