The company's initial focus is the solar energy sector, where its systems assist crews in unloading and positioning heavy solar panels with sub-millimeter precision.
According to the company, its technology can increase the installation rate of a typical eight-person crew from 800 panels per day to as many as 4,000.
Gritt has already secured contracts to help install 2.8 gigawatts of solar capacity over the next 18 months and plans to have nearly 50 systems operational within the next half-year.
Beyond solar installation, the founders intend to expand the platform’s capabilities to include tasks like drilling posts and tying rebar for concrete construction.
