Meta has launched Muse Image, its first specialized image generation model from Meta Superintelligence Labs, now integrated into Meta AI. The tool allows users to create high-quality visuals through conversational prompts across Instagram and WhatsApp, with plans to expand to Facebook and Messenger.
The model is designed to handle complex reasoning, such as blending multiple reference photos, rendering legible text within graphics, and performing advanced edits like restoring vintage photographs or removing unwanted objects from backgrounds. Beyond standard generation, the update introduces interactive features such as @mentions, which allow Meta AI to incorporate public profile photos into new creations, provided the account holder has not opted out.
