Meta has announced a new line of smart glasses that moves away from its traditional Ray-Ban branding in an effort to offer a more affordable entry point into the wearables market. Starting at $299—approximately $80 less than the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2—the new lineup includes styles such as the Meta Fury, Meta Adventurer, and a collaboration with Kylie Jenner.
While the hardware continues to be manufactured by EssilorLuxottica, the shift allows Meta to target a broader audience with lower price points and more adjustable fit options, including customizable nose pads and temple tips. The new glasses maintain the same internal specifications as recent premium models but feature slightly improved battery life and launch with the Muse Spark AI model.
