WhatsApp has announced the launch of Incognito Chat, a new feature designed to provide enhanced privacy for users interacting with Meta AI. According to the company, this function allows individuals to converse with the AI chatbot without their questions or answers being accessible to third parties, including Meta itself.
The technology behind Incognito Chat is based on WhatsApp’s Private Processing scheme, which was first introduced a year ago. This security framework already supports other AI-driven capabilities within the app, such as message summarization and composition tools.
