OnePlus has announced its official departure from the North American and European markets, marking the end of its regional presence following the release of the OnePlus 15. The company’s operations in these territories will be fully absorbed by its parent brand, Oppo.
This strategic shift follows a period of increasing integration between the two companies and occurs amid broader industry challenges, including record-high component prices and a significant global decline in smartphone shipments. While OnePlus will continue to operate within China, the restructuring includes a separate move for fellow sub-brand Realme, which is exiting the Chinese market to focus exclusively on its overseas business.
