Moving forward, the two countries will meet in London this October for an in-person disruption event alongside private industry partners to target specific cases of common interest.
The initiative is being led by the U.S.
Scam Center Strike Force, a specialized team of over 150 prosecutors and agents from various federal agencies.
This team recently successfully seized approximately $15 billion in bitcoin linked to the Prince Group, a conglomerate identified as a major hub for laundering proceeds from these global scam operations.
